Week 8 - Thing 14 Delicious

I like using delicious. I allows me to access many more bookmarked sites. I like the format and can imagine using this on my library page for those frequently used sites. I want to think more about how this might work for librayr patrons.

Week 7 - Thing #13

http://www.librarything.com/profile/maisonrose

I have always kept a journal of books I read. I don't know whether an online version will work for me or not. I'm not sure how this might work for my patrons.

Week 7 - thing #12

I like this generator. It was easy to use.

Week 6

Thank you.

Week Five

Social networking
M y daughters set me up with a MySpace account several years ago. They helped me to do this because I had a friend who had an account and they felt it was a good way for me to keep in touch. As my youngest daughter went away to college, it allowed me to keep in touch with her and her friends.
Now I have a Facebook account because it's the new way to keep in touch. My oldest daughter posts pictures of my grandsons and I can still keep in touch with friends and my daughters' friends.
Sometimes I find it a little trivial but I have been known to do the quizzes and actually my crayon color is cornflower.

23 things - week four

I have already bookmarked my daughters' and my husband's blog and websites and so having a feed reader simply makes it a little easier. I chose to add the site "Unshelved" as I like to add a little humor to my life as often as possible. I also switched my bookmark to "For Better or For Worse" comic strip to my feeder as well.

23 things - week three

As a teacher, in my other part time job, I use technology all the time. I have worked with my students to do research on line and use power Point presentations to share their learning. The best part of 23 things is that I am learning about new ways to use technology and I know that I will be sharing all of this with my students and with the patrons in my library.
